Hey, i did install the new update, it didn't solve the trampoline post problem, but some others yes. It works now, but had to put some boards up for the trampoline so it will not bump its painted steel feet. Also, now there is new problem, when it reverses, it rotates only half wheel distance, and it is not enough. previously it reversed full wheel revolution. SO, this causes new problems that didn't exist before, it can get stuck in tight inside corners if it aproaches the corner in certain angle. So, it gets stuck on plain grass basically. My solution to this was instead of one 90-degree corner, i made two 45 degrees with about 30cm/1feet between them.
thats disappointing to a lifelong Mercedes guy, I just replaced the broken pivot arm on our C207 coupe and the flaps seemed to be intact and moving freely so i re-installed, a month later the check engine light is back for evap leak and secondary air. It sucks!

You have to pull it apart. Don't touch the glowplug! It is fragile. The chamber in this was filled with soot and oil. 5-6 mm or quarter inch and that's why it didn't work. Scrapped it off, and have worked ever since. Yeah the heater is still in use. The car is wrecked.
my 2008 with 250k is still holding up tight, I do spray it with some silicon spray and some plastic protector but I know the repair will come, this is just extending the life of it.
ltwargssf R if you have plastic parts, it is made with the improved intake manifold. There is huge difference with the first one (the one in this video, cast aluminium only), the second version and the third. Third is the one which probably will last for decades, and should been from the start.
I know it's an old tread, but unfortunately I do have a very same problem on my 1997 VW polo 1.4 16v (AFH). Throttle body have been replaced, there are no vacuum leaks. Further more I was unsuccessful with TBH adaptation on VCDS/snap-on/Launch equipment. The last one performs adaptation but still with no positive result?! And there is no fault codes displayed?! Any suggestions would be more than helpful.
magnum357225 thanks for your reply. Timing belt, fuel & oil filters, spark plugs and distributor have changed in June/July 2017. The problem was caused by faulty coolant temperature sensor... So if any of you suffering same issue - start with a temperature sensor. And it's an easy and cheap repair. There is even a tutorial video somewhere on UA-cam.
I had a similar problem to this, occasionally revving even higher, 2-3000 revs. It also made the car really jerky when I lifted off the accelerator. The fault code was something like 282 Throttle Position Actuator (V60) - 36-10 - Open Circuit - Intermittent. I was going to replace the throttle body because that seemed like the best guess as to the problem. At the same time the battery was on the way out so after a few jumpstarts, I replaced the battery and it seems like the problem has been solved! So I'm not saying it's not the throttle body or vacuum leak or wiring problem or temp sender/sensor but before you drop too much money get an autoparts store to test the condition of the battery.

I also will add that it will work better on very dry grass. some nordic mist and it's fucked up. No enough traction, it just digs wheel holes.

Check your vacuum hose close to throttle body thats back of the engine ... Maybe the hose pop out...that's why it's rough iddle... hope it helps you

change the fuel filter and check the timing on the distributor head maybe its too far advanced
